Change doesn't have to be hard
Hypnosis works where willpower, strategy, and insight stop short. Instead, it works at the subconscious level, where patterns actually live. Whether you're navigating fear, breaking old habits, building confidence, or preparing for a major identity shift, this work meets you there

What we can work on together
Self-doubt, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, fear of judgment. We repattern the subconscious narrative so confidence becomes a baseline, not a performance.
Chronic worry, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation. Sessions create deep regulation and teach your body that calm is the new default.
Smoking cessation, unwanted behavioral loops, procrastination, emotional eating. Habits live in the subconscious — and that's exactly where we work
Flying, heights, public speaking, social anxiety, specific phobias. We work at the root of the threat response, not just the symptom, so the trigger loses its grip.
Taking the First Step is simple. Using the link below send me an email with your name, phone number, email, your preferred times to connect, and a few words about what's calling you to this work. I will follow up personally to arrange a conversation between us. It is completely free, and it is simply a chance to go deeper into where you are, where you want to be, and whether working together feels right.
Combining conscious coaching work with deep unconscious hypnosis sessions, the Identity Shift Protocol is an 8-week program designed for professionals navigating a professional identity transition. We work cognitively, emotionally, somatically, and at the narrative and unconscious levels, not one at a time, but together.

Self-awareness and subconscious integration are two different things. You can understand a pattern completely and still be neurologically wired to repeat it. High-level performers don't grow alone; they seek precision support at their next level.
Previous work may have offered insight but insight without identity-level integration doesn't hold. This work is about stabilization, not another emotional high. We don't work at the surface. We work at the exact moment expansion triggers contraction
You are never unconscious or controlled. You're guided into deeper awareness not surrendering autonomy. You already operate from subconscious programming every day. The only question is whether it's currently serving your expansion
"Timing" often becomes a socially acceptable word for nervous system contraction. Of course it feels edgy you're at an expansion edge. The version of you who expands doesn't wait until it feels easy. It rarely does right before a breakthrough.
Certified Professional Hypnotist
Degree in Psychology
Mental Health & Healthcare Background
Certified Yoga Instructor
Mens Circle Facilitator

I'm a Certified Professional Hypnotist and identity integration specialist working at the intersection of subconscious repatterning, nervous system regulation, and embodied leadership.
My work is for wellness professionals: yoga teachers, somatic facilitators, conscious guides who are ready to stop cycling between momentum and contraction, and start inhabiting the version of themselves they've been preparing to become.
The patterns that keep skilled, self-aware practitioners playing small aren't strategic problems. They're identity-level patterns, wired in long before you built your business.
I came to this work through my own lived experience of personal expansion. With a background in psychology, years in mental health and traditional healthcare, and deep roots in yoga teaching and men's circle facilitation, I understand from the inside what it means to carry both the calling to lead and the subconscious resistance that meets it. That intersection, where genuine desire and nervous system threat collide, is exactly where I work.
Insight alone doesn't shift these patterns. Neither does discipline, or another certification, or a better launch plan. What shifts them is working directly at the subconscious level precisely, relationally, and with respect for the full complexity of who you are.
My approach combines conscious coaching with deep hypnosis reprogramming to create real identity integration, not a temporary breakthrough, but a stable, embodied shift in who you experience yourself to be. I bring the same holistic lens I've always carried: science, somatic wisdom, and deep belief in your capacity to expand without losing yourself.
If you're ready to stop managing the pattern and start repatterning at the root Id love to hear from you.
Not at all! Sorry to disappoint if you were expecting something theatrical. Hypnosis is not mind control; it’s a natural, deeply relaxed state of focused awareness. You already experience similar states when you’re absorbed in a film, a good book, or your own thoughts. During hypnosis, you remain fully aware, able to hear, respond, and even choose to stop at any moment. You’re never asleep or out of control — in fact, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. My role is simply to guide you into the calm, focused space where the conscious mind can quiet down and the subconscious can open to positive change. Your autonomy, boundaries, and safety are always respected.
Hypnosis is a powerful tool for creating meaningful, lasting change at the subconscious level — where your beliefs, habits, emotions, and patterns are stored. It can help you release fears, reduce stress, shift unwanted habits, resolve emotional blocks, and strengthen confidence from within. It’s also shown to support physical and emotional well-being, improving sleep, easing chronic tension, and enhancing focus and self-trust. Whether your goal is to overcome a specific challenge, deepen personal growth, or step into your full potential, hypnosis helps you do it in a way that feels natural and aligned.
Yes — hypnosis is very real and backed by decades of research and clinical application.
Far from being mystical or theatrical, it’s recognized by organizations like the American Psychological Association (APA) and the British Psychological Society (BPS) as an evidence-based therapeutic tool for issues such as anxiety, habit change, trauma recovery, and pain management.
Neuroscience has confirmed what practitioners have long observed: during hypnosis, measurable shifts occur in brain activity. Functional MRI (fMRI) studies show that regions linked to focus, sensory processing, and emotional regulation become more active, while the overthinking centers quiet down.
In essence, hypnosis isn’t magic — it’s a naturally altered state of consciousness that allows the mind to reprogram patterns at their root. When guided by a trained professional, it’s a safe, effective, and empowering process grounded in both science and experience.
Yes — hypnosis is completely safe when facilitated by a trained, certified practitioner.
It’s a state most people naturally enter throughout the day — when driving on autopilot, deeply focused on a task, or lost in a moment of imagination.
During a session, you’re fully conscious, simply more relaxed and inwardly focused. Many describe the experience as deeply calming — similar to meditation or the dreamy space before sleep. Your body might feel light and floating, or comfortably heavy and still, depending on the moment.
You’re always in control. Hypnosis isn’t about giving up power — it’s about accessing more of it, through the part of your mind quietly shaping your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Absolutely. In fact, strong-minded people often make excellent hypnosis clients — focus, imagination, and determination are assets in this process. Hypnosis isn’t about control or submission; it’s a collaboration. You remain in charge the entire time, while I guide your attention inward in a way that allows the subconscious mind to become more receptive to change. If you’re curious but skeptical, that’s perfectly natural. Many clients begin that way. The only real requirement is a willingness to engage in the process — hypnosis works best when approached with openness and intention.
Before your session, take a few moments to reflect and jot down:
- What you’d like to change or explore
- How it currently impacts your life
- Why change matters to you(and why it needs to happen now)
- The outcome you hope to create
This reflection helps us start from a place of clarity and intention.
A typical session lasts 60 - 90 minutes. We begin with a focused conversation to understand the root of the issue — exploring patterns, triggers, and emotional context.
The second part is the hypnosis itself, where I guide you into a relaxed, focused state and work directly with the subconscious mind to facilitate deep, lasting change.
Each session is designed to feel calm, restorative, and intentional — a space where insight becomes integration.
Online hypnotherapy works beautifully. You simply choose a quiet place, put on your headphones, and let me guide you through a deeply relaxing and transformative experience. Many clients prefer online sessions because the comfort of home helps their nervous system settle more quickly, allowing for deeper alignment and clearer results.
"One session with him helped me ditch a lifelong habit!"
Daniel Leitzell is a fantastic hypnotherapist who understands the subject on many levels. One session with him helped me ditch a lifelong habit! He brings years of study in hypnosis and other related fields into his sessions & the results are wonderful. Highly recommended!

"Allowed me to break through more self limitations"'
Ive had several hypnotherapy sessions with Daniel and each one has allowed me to break through more self limitations stored subconsciencly. He asked the right questions and helped me uncover buried things I never knew were holding me back. I would recommend a session with Daniel to anyone, we all have uncovered layers just waiting to be explored and unraveled - Ange-Elise V.(Breathwork Facilitator)
"He created a safe place for me to be vulnerable."
Working with Daniel from start to finish was a wonderful experience. I initially came to Daniel looking for some healing from constant anxiety attacks. He took such a gentle, caring, and thoughtful approach to my therapy sessions. He created a safe place for me to be vulnerable and grow in my healing journey. In just two sessions, I was able to identify areas in my life (past and present) that were significantly holding me back. Through his guided hypnosis, I was able to release some childhood trauma/emotions that I have been holding on to for decades and I left both sessions feeling deeply relaxed. What makes Daniel so effective is that he genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. Daniel not only developed intentional and effective hypnotherapy sessions, but also checked in on me throughout the week and offered additional therapeutic practices to help with my anxiety. - Kelsey(Mother of 3)
"Things have shifted already"
I highly recommend Daniel. I had a hypnosis session with Daniel it was really amazing. I wanted help to stop spending so much unproductive time at my computer & stop getting caught up in the fine details. Things have shifted already. This weekend I have been much more productive, with a clear focus & have enjoyed doing things away from my desk. I felt like Daniel really listened to me and picked up on what was going on . Thank you so much Daniel - Laura S(Professional Coach)
"The benefits he brought were tremendous"
I was in a place where I was mentally torn between what I felt like i should be feeling vs what I was actually feeling. I needed someone to listen to me and be a sounding board, Someone to hear my frustrations and help gain clarity instead of drowning in overwhelm. Daniel knew exactly what questions to ask to help work through my emotions. The benefits he brought were tremendous - Kara(Healthcare Provider)
"It was a powerful and emotional experience"
I’ve had a few sessions with Daniel and all of them have been eye-opening and helpful. I was preparing for a surgery and I was extremely worried and scared about it. My session helped change that to where I felt calm and relaxed during the whole procedure. After my surgery, another session helped ease my worries about the healing process helping me visualize my body healing itself. It was a powerful and emotional experience.- Rachel M.(Graduate Student)
Daniel has a way of asking the right questions to zero in and meet me exactly wherever I might be emotionally and cerebrally to set the stage and make the most of the session. He’s patient, curious, comforting, and approachable with answering any questions I have or helping me process whatever shows up once in the
deeply relaxing and clarifying states that he facilitates finding. After my first session with him, I felt like my brain and heart were less “cluttered”, and I left with fresh perspective
on the pressures, decisions, and engagements that were weighing on me. I’ve since
booked follow-up sessions with him and know I can count on him to help me find a lighter sense of understanding myself and what I actually need.
-Nate J.(Business Owner/Entreprenuer)
"...made it very easy for me to find the reasons I was behaving the way I did .."
I want to give you my appreciation for what you did during the 3 sessions.
You are a very soft and warm human being.
You are gifted for what you do.
You have a great ability to softly bring unconscious behaviors to the forefront and help work on them.
Your hypno-therapy and guidance during the sessions made it very easy for me to find the reasons I was behaving the way I did and helped me realize that I can change these behaviors.
The way you asked questions automatically guided me to answers for me, amazing.
You have made a big difference for me
